Gashi Lab

The Gashi Laboratory was one of many A237 laboratories built for the manufacture of humans to be characters in settlement simulations. The lab is now a ruin and is left alone, floating in the Gashi Asteroid Belt .

Purpose / Function

The lab was used by A237 to grow humans. Humans here are grown in tubes until they reach the specified age for their character at which point they are remove from their growing tubes and implanted with personalities required for their role. They are then transported to the settlement they were created for and uploaded to the mind net for the simulation. Once uploaded the newly made human assumes their role with no prior knowledge of their creation or origins.
It is worth noting that whilst the humans have personalities and memories implanted upon leaving their growth chambers, they are made with preset traits that A237 will twist into a character role personality. An example of this would be a hero character being 'born' naturally selfless and brave with a strong moral compass. This allows A237 to easily manipulate the human into a role where they these attributes are required without having to program them in.

History

7 years ago, a human subject was removed from her maturation vessel prior to full growth being achieved. The reason for the removal of subject CDS.6 is as yet unknown to the general populace as A237 memory files on the subject are corrupted. The subject's premature removal coincided with the uprising of the villain brothers in A237 territory, occurring immediately after the takeover and subsequent release of humanity under the brothers' rule. The increased A237 activity before the removal of CDS.6 gave away the existence of previously hidden laboratory. The pirates that own the territory in which the Gashi Asteroid Belt are part of did not react kindly to the A237 presence in their space and therefore launched an offensive. The attack crippled the lab, and all A237 were wiped out and the facility left a ruin. All human subjects were terminated by A237 during the assault and CDS.6 was thought to have been terminated by the pirates. The pirates did, however leave the ruined lab with a human girl aged 8 years old.
