Cazma Family

The Cazma brothers were a set of brothers made by A237 to fill to role created by the iconic clown villain 'the Joker'. Since Joker is so prevalent is entertainment media A237 viewed the character as a prominent historical figure and saw fit to introduce the character into the largest narrative simulation in their territory, Sillion Prime. However because the joker has had so many iterations and remakes, A237 could not compute the character into one human. This resulted in the Cazma brothers. Each of the five brother represented a facet or era of the joker, since A237 could not integrate all the versions into one human.   The eldest brother Jorge Cazma represented the original version of the character, a criminal mastermind psychopath with a warped, sadistic sense of humour. Whilst Jorge did commit heinous crimes and was responsible for many death, he was not as gruesome as his other brothers.   The next brother was Jakob Cazma, the prankster. Jakob represent the less violent era of the joker. He was less a criminal and more a nuisance, preferring pranks and jokes that causes disruption but never actually causing harm. Jakob was seen as a bit of an embarrassment by his brothers.   Next were the twins, Jamison and Jericho. These two personified the characters return to darker roots and both exhibit high body counts and violent tendencies. The elder twin, Jamison was the evolved version of Jorge, a cold, calculated mastermind, with zero morals and a genius level intellect. He displays a more refined demeanour than his twin, or even all the brothers.   The younger twin, Jericho embodies the crazy maniac aspect of the joker. He thrives off his insanity and wants only to cause havoc and chaos with as much carnage as possible. He's vengeful and the most violent of the family.   The baby of the family, Jesse 'the Jester' Cazma stemmed from the later versions of the character. His obsession with his own pitiful origin story and resulting 'fall to darkness' as he put it, earned him the derision of his brothers. His brothers, who never once questioned their darker urges towards criminal means, thought even less of him when he refused to answer to anything other than 'The Jester'. Jesse had a tendency to monologue about the circumstances that caused him to 'fall' and was far less focused on the clown origins of the character than his brothers.     Within their simulation the brothers all acted as separate antagonists, occasionally teaming up in pairs or threes but never working as one cohesive family unit. These team effects never lasted long before an eventual conflict tore them apart again. All five of the brothers were continually fighting from a young age. It was this continual argumentative separation that eventually led to the masterminded brothers realising they were in a controlled simulation.
Due to the fact that the Joker never seemed to die, or at least stay dead, all of the Camzas were made impervious to death. How A237 achieved this is not known.
The family was supposed to gain an extra member through Jamison having a daughter. This character was supposed to act as sidekick to her father but occasionally jump between the family. Due to outside circumstances Ace Camza grew up outside A237 control instead of being introduced to the simulation after growing to the appropriate age in a growth pod.

History

After 5 years in their simulation, Jericho started a new script in his ranting and raving. He proclaimed that the world wasn't real. That everything was fake and everyone was just puppets dancing to tune. His brothers shrugged it off as a new 'reason' for him to make chaos and havoc.
It was Jamison that made sense of his twin's realisation when, after a stray comment from Jericho about their childhood, he thought back to his former years. Jamison realised that there had never been a time when the brothers had not fought over something. Thinking he must just be forgetful, he thought about the years when they were all just children and toddlers and realised he didn't have those memories. There were no memories of his younger brother's birth, nothing about his baby years, only the siblings as older children, fighting. And he couldn't remember why any of the fights happened. In fact he couldn't remember why he was currently angry with all brothers. When he asked Jorge, the eldest could recall the cause of his most recent sibling fallout, a fight with Jakob, but no others.
Gradually under Jamison's prompting, the brothers all came to the realisation that something was wrong and finally listened to Jericho. Jericho, for his part had been observing everything. He may have been maniacally raving about it but he was watching and analysing too. With his information, the five mastermind brothers found the way to one of A237's maintenance hubs for the simulation. From there they were able to shut down the mind link connecting all the inhabitants to the narrative.
  Chaos ensued.
Without the link to the A237 narrative, the original personalities and thoughts of the humans returned. Those made by A237 were left floundering as the personalities they were uploaded with, were left half-formed. Under the prompting and rallying of the Cazma brothers, the humans rose up against A237. War and fighting broke out all across Sillion Prime. During the war, both Jesse and Jakob were killed by the ever replenishing A237 droids. Death by A237 is the only known death that can actually work on a Camza. The fighting continued until Jamison and Jorge were able to crack into the A237 mainframe and reprogram it. They were unable to stop A237's need to 'correct' human life but they were able to add a new directive. That directive dictated a complete loyalty to the Cazma brothers and their orders. Just as the directive was executed, Jorge was killed.
With the new power of the droid army, the surviving Camzas ordered all simulations inside of the A237 territory to be shut down. Recognising the power they now held and reeling from the loss of all their brothers, the twins set themselves up as Emperors of Humanity. They ordered A237 to terminate all the 'heroes' of the simulations and recruited some of the villains that they could manipulate and use. Those that were not useful or uncontrollable, were terminated alongside the heroes when the simulations were deactivated. Jamison and Jericho told the human populace that the terminated were A237 sympathisers. They were heralded as the heroes and saviours of the human race and welcomed in their rule. A237 became viewed as previous oppressors and now a tool for protection, a sign of their Emperors power.
Struggling from being cut down from five to two, the twins were left empty and shattered. The five had been made to be one entity and even with their constant conflicts they had always been connected. Bereft from the loss of their siblings, when Jericho found evidence of the creation of Ace and the twins realised they had another family member out there besides themselves, another Camza, they directed A237 to remove Ace from her growth pod in the Gashi Production Labs and transport her to them immediately so she could grow up with her family. Ace never arrived on Sillion Prime and Jamison and Jericho were told their newfound daughter and niece had died in an attack on the facility. Reeling from yet another familial loss, the twin Emperors allowed A237 to continue their expansion outside the territory. With every expansion of the territory they allowed the simulations no longer on the edge of the territory to be freed but refused to allow anyone outside their rule to be aware of the coup and their rise to power. For the past 7 years the twins have ruled supreme with none the wiser about their existence and their power over A237.

Disbandment

During the coup against A237, Jorge, Jakob and Jesse all met their ends at the hands of the droid army despite possessing a unique ability that made them impervious to death. Being responsible for the trait, A237 developed a counter-agent and deployed it to kill every brother but the twins.   2263, 11th May, Jakob Cazma   2263, 18th May, Jesse 'Jester' Cazma   2263, 23rd May, Jorge Cazma
