Eirik Vahann

Oathless Eirik Vahann (a.k.a. The Wolf)

The ends don’t always justify the means, but necessity makes me forgetful.
Relentless. If a single word could accurately describe one’s character, this would be Eirik’s. His motives are simple, and his methods are brutal and pragmatic. Trained to fight with spiked gauntlets, he is the only known Prime to lack a warshade entirely. His force of will and his unusual training helps to even out this weakness, but he has had to fight for every inch of respect he’s earned. Needless to say, diplomacy is not his strong point.   Eirik is an extremely competent killer with unorthodox strategies. He has made dangerous enemies and owes debts to even more dangerous people, a situation he desperately wants to escape.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Just a bit under average Prime height, lean but extremely well muscled, Eirik is in peak physical condition, consistently honed to allow him to take on the enhanced strength of rival Primes. Though lacking a Warshade, his peculiar fighting style helps negate his weakness and makes him an excellent assassin. He is a very competent fighter.

Specialized Equipment

Eirik wears a padded leather jerkin when on an assignment, with a matching pair of pants. He wears heavy bracers and a specially crafted pair of spiked gauntlets feared across the Emerald Coast. These are his only weapons. Eirik also possesses a set of ceremonial armour, made in a style that dates back to before the Shaded War, all black and with intricate gold trim. It is a magnificent set and he keeps it well hidden amongst his holdings in Kvia.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Born to a Kalaallit father and a Prime mother in Stromgard, Eirik has two younger brothers, also Primes. At five he was taken by the city's Vardir and trained as a Prime, only to be kicked out by the age of ten for disruptive behaviour and his lack of warshade. He immediately fled to Kvia on the Emerald Coast, where he grew into a notorious bruiser, known for his aggressive ambition and relentless drive. These traits eventually landed him in more trouble than he could handle, and he was rescued by a group known as Fenris. The organization, using their intervention as leverage, wielded him like a flail. His ambition matched his talent, and he carved a bloody path through the Emerald Coast's criminal underworld, working his contracts to release himself from his debts. Nearing the end of his payment, he is given a contract on a warrior named Torjus Vahann.
