Wayfarer Lodge

A Lodge is a generic term the Wayfarer Guild uses for all its official buildings. In some small settlements in the Frontier, this can be as small as a single house where a retired Wayfarer hosts visitors. In some cities, this can be an entire district consisting of over a dozen buildings.   The main part of what makes a place a Wayfarer Lodge, is that it has at least one Wayfarer Representative located there at all times. This representative offers lodging, aid with selling spoils and procuring supplies, as well as providing and receiving information.

Building Types

Main Desk
A place for Wayfarers to report in. Often comes with space to eat and drink, as well as a board with recent relevant information on it. This is where one can always find a Guild Representative to talk with. Locals may come here to ask for aid as well.
Warehouse
Offers storage for whatever a Wayfarer may sell or buy. These tend to contain an armoury with the right tools to deal with local Beasts. Any materials sold to the Guild will be stored here until they can be sold off to a merchant.
Lodging
Comfortable, even though usually small. Larger rooms tend to require a bit of compensation from the Wayfarer, but a small room with simple bedding is always free. Though Ogres tend to grumble about the lack of space.

Training Grounds
Usually located outside, sometimes inside in a large hall or basement. Here one can practice both melee and ranged combat. Some fancier Lodges will even have artificial terrain that resembles nearby Beast Lands.
Library
While small Lodges will still offer up some journals with relevant information, only large Lodges tend to have a library. Here one can find large amounts of books that discuss many Beasts and areas in fine detail.
Workshop
While some Wayfarers may dismember their catches in the field, others will bring the corpses to a Lodge for detailed processing. In the workshop, Wayfarers have all the tools needed to dismember a Beast.
