The Tidal Empire
The Empire of the Sea Terrors of Old
The Tidal Empire is the empire of old, while Vyngaard was still one big continent. It was ruled from its capital in the centre, Ygníheim, by Sea Terrors, who enslaved all races and made them built the empire for them.
The time of the Tidal Empire lasted very long in Vyngaard, and spread across the Yngveig to other realms as well. It is the greatest force of evil in all of Aldinnhalldr, and the sworn enemy of the Glory Pantheon.
The Tidal Empire has lost all control in Vyngaard, which is now cleansed. It still rules over several other realms, and is fully at war with the Glory Pantheon, who has sworn to take it down.
Structure
The Tidal Empire was ruled by those called the Masters, terrible Sea Terrors with the ability to manipulate any living thing to do their bidding. They resided in Ygníheim and were rarely, if ever, seen outside their palaces. It is unknown how many they were, but they all ruled together, like one hive mind.
The Masters ruled only their Enforcers, terrible ocean beings like themselves, and had them, in turn, rule over the slaves of the Empire.
The slaves, in Vyngaard thought to have been Dwarrow, Gnomes, Orcs, and Zajec, had no power, and lived and worked only to serve the Empire. The layer of telepathic enslavement that lay over them was lesser than that on the Enforcers, as these only had abilities granted by the Masters.
During the Shattering of Bonds and World, the Masters pulled beings into Vyngaard from other realms of Aldinnhalldr, terrible beasts that they had conquered. They also brought in what would become the three elven subraces, dragonborn and halflings, to fight for them.
Public Agenda
The Tidal Empire believes that chaos is the destroyer of all, and only through order can anything be kept afloat.
History
The Tidal Empire didn't rise suddenly, neither did it rise out of nowhere. It slowly built up as the Masters took over the minds of all beings of Vyngaard and took them under their power.
The terrible sea creatures that were the Masters are thought to have come from leftovers of the Draumr, the true evil and chaos of the universe.
