Ballarand
Ballarand are of medium build and height, although they are typically a little broader than the average Uthman . Their skin tends to have an olive hue, although on average they are increasingly paler in complexion the further north one travels. Ballarand hair and eye colours vary wildly, with brown hair and blue eyes being most common.
Where the Uthman draw much of their hereditary lineage from the peoples of the Mardin Empire, it is a commonly held belief by scholars that the Ballarand are descendants of Ramuh who fled south before the Rains of Destruction. While the nation of Ballardan remains their ancestral homeland, many Ballarand have traveled far and wide, leaving their homeland's tumultuous history behind them in the hopes for better lives elsewhere.
