Sarotarian Pirates
Many mainlanders amalgamate the Sarotarian Pirates into one large group, but outside of what minimal control the Covemaster wields within the confines of the Sarotarian Isles , they are neither united nor go by such a name. The pirates are known by many names; a fearsome-sounding group name, a ship's name, or the name of a particularly infamous captain. Visiting Brineblood Landing rarely reveals who you are dealing with unless you know of a group's iconography or peculiarities.
Structure
The Covemaster serves as judge and jury of the Sarotarian Pirates from his seat in Brineblood Landing. They collect payment for "upkeep" of the fortress-city via tithes from the captains when they return to port with their latest hauls. This is done through the honor system, but punishments for undercutting one's profits for the sake of avoiding higher tithes are severe.
Each crew member is expected to be entirely loyal to their captain.
Assets
Roughly 70-100 pirate ships of varied sizes and nationalities, each with anywhere from 40 to over 150 crewmen.
