I don't ever feel good about using these things to disable someone's ability to use magic, and I can't even cast magic myself! But sometimes, it is very necessary to fire one off at a mage.One example was when we were attempting to go after a criminal named Marjory Stoneweaver. She gave us quite some trouble, until I managed to shoot a beryllium arrow at just the right time through her defenses. Her magic immediately shut off. All those floating stones she was floating and hurling at us dropped to the ground immediately.
Imagine her surprise at not being able to doing something so fundamental as magic anymore. I felt kind of bad...until we turned her in for the bounty. I felt pretty good after that!
