The Great Fortress city of Gah Buldur is in the Dwarven Island Kingdom of Malhiem it lies at the northern end of a forested Valley just east of the Ironbreak Falls and Just 10 Miles trek up the northern road from Kings Bay and the Port city of Man Dorul.

In The "Northern Azure Sea" North of "Ageron" is the Dwarven Kingdom of "Malhiem" a Small very mountainous continent it is one of the major kingdoms passed as you would sail north closer to "The Great Maelstrom".
  This Great City Fortress is home to some of the Most accomplished Dwarven craftsman in all of Voltera and most certainly the Kingdom of Malhiem. Craftsmen here specialize in the Mining and Crafting of Mithril one of the most prized metals in all of Voltera. The location, Mining and processing of this metal requires years of trade experience which the Craftsman of Gah Buldur have developed and perfected. These craftsman are all members of the Truesilver Guild banded together are Miners, Engineers, Metal Smiths, Armorers, and Weapon smiths and Jewelers and even Tinkers who closely guard the secrets of this most precious Metal ore and how it forged and crafted.   Gah Buldur is the place to go if you desire anything made from Mithril or Truesilver as it is also called. The Rare metal has made this Fortress City very rich of the centuries and its Craftsmen are renown for making some of the best Weapons and Armor made of Mithril or Purest Mithril mined and smelted into ingots comes from here and the nearby mines up in the mountains above Gah Buldur. These mines are known as Dagkolduhr Mines one of the most extensive mines known to all the races in Voltera they are a proudly talked about by the Dwarves often refered to as "Bulderai" from this city.

Government

The City of Guh Buldur is run by a feudalistic Monarchy Duke Gathruud Silvervein and his family have ruled over the the city since its founding. The Rule is passed down generation to generation among the Silvervein Clan. His Brother Makruud Silvervein runs the City Garrison and the Truesilver guild has a council that meets and discusses political affairs of the city with Gathruud Silvervein.   As far as taxation there is a Tax of 15 Gold to enter the city and a tax of 100 gold to enter the Truesilver district. A master record is kept for all naturally born Buldurai residents and a tax is paid annually of 12% of the total clans revenue, this is the lowest taxation rate in the great city. A Separate record of immigrating Dwarves or Non-Buldurai is kept and the Taxation Rate Annually is 15% of the clans total revenue. A record of citizens of other races is also kept and a tax rate of 25% of annual revenue is charged for Non Dwarven races to remain and practice trade with good standing within the city. All who wish to open a business or trade within the city must petition Duke Silvervein and the council of the Truesilver Guild, if approved property is allowed to be purchased within the city and taxes will be levied as stated above if not that person cannot petition for another year.   Crime in Gah Buldur is taken very seriously Buldurai often state "A Crime by one of a clan, is a crime by all of a Clan!" all crimes are recorded in the Guh Buldur Great book of Grudges to be remembered for eternity. and the Great book is often consulted and referenced when one seeks an audience with Duke Silvervein. Minor Crimes such as petty theft, Striking a Guardsman, or loitering in an unauthorized area are often met with Hard labor as punishment more serious crimes usually involve imprisonment or execution in a unique fashion. Crimes Recorded in the Great book of Grudges can be redeemed and stricken from the record but only with a pale thin gray line so that future family and clans can be reminded of them when seeking an audience of favor from Duke Silvervein.

Defences

The city is protected by several stone walls, Towers with massive catapults and Batista, the City walls even sport a few great cannon. All surrounded by a moat system. A garrison of 5000 Dwarven soldiers with another 500 City guard.

Metal Crafting , Smiths and Artificers the Import of precious metals is the most key.

Infrastructure

Gah Buldur is a great crafting city and a wealth of quality materials can be acquired here. The City boasts several Great furnaces and a great Waterwheel within the Fortress cities tunnel network provides a great source of working power for Mills, Forges and even a gondola system. There is a Crafters quarter, a Military quarter, a public and farmers market, a large assortment of breweries, and Taverns, and Sporting Coliseum that holds weekly events there are several housing quarters based of station and naturally born or Immigrant status and a nobles quarter. All of the great city is connected by a sewer network.

Food supplies to withstand years of siege, ore and ingots of Mitthril, Gold, silver and Platinum, Precious gems, and stores of quality hardwood.

Geography

The City is Built on a High elevated red iron rock ridge overlooking the Forest and river Valley below and a great portion of the city is carved into the mountain side. Fresh Water from the Ironbreak river comes from underground and runs through the mountain out through Ironbreak Falls about 3 miles from the great city.

Natural Resources

Veins of Mithril, Gold and Silver Ore within the Mines of Dagkolduhr in the Mountains above Gah Buldur, Silver and gold are also panned from the Ironbreak River, Sturdy Oak is harvested from the nearby forest outside the great city and there is seasonal farming done in the Vally below the Mountains and Gah Buldur.
