A large expansive desert where temperatures can reach over 100F during the day and drop down to 25F at night.
Ecosystem
Once fertile farmland, years of drought and crop destroying diseases have turned the once bountiful Great Expanse into a wasteland. Very few animals are able to survive the harsh climate of The Great Expanse however the Camalia seem to have adapted to the climate and are often used by local tribes and guides for the area as beasts of burden.
Localized Phenomena
The Great Expanse seems to grow every year causing concern for the few towns and cities that surround it. Many experts on natural phenomena claim that there is no ecological reason for the deserts formation.
