Lighter than most Shpazh, though tans as well as any in his family.

Hair

Easily waist length. There are bright red streaks through a portion that is frequently combed to the left. Some of it is pinned back to stay out of his eyes. There is usually a small braid amongst the hair left down.

Clothing Quirks

Unlike most Shpazh, he doesn't wear much gold. Black dominate his attire with accents of rich red that match the color of his eyes. He much prefers to decorate his Bya in gold than wear it himself.

Body Features

Like every Shpazh, he has a Laz. His is curled around his upper right shoulder like a cuff. Then he has a Zi mark that is flourished, abstract piece that includes a crow, crown, and black feathers. This Zi dominates the left side of his chest and abs, curling partially over his side.

Morality and Philosophy

The ends will always justify the means when it means taking care of his family, or more importantly, his family's name and reputation. Shpazh has remained one of the most powerful families because the majority of them are ruthless and, as the Patriarch, Reldyn is especially so. Privy to the secrets of vnou history, he understands what it means to keep the populace ignorant and easily controlled. As a Zmutwe, he's mindful not to be obvious about his power. Other nobility is fully aware but the vast populace must remain ignorant. In front of a camera, Reldyn comes across as the cold, spoiled Prince of the Shpazh fortune and he's marketed as such. It leaves him with a sense of untouchable desirability by the common vnou.

Everyone outside of the direct Shpazh line are tools, pets, or puppets. He has absolutely no attachment to anyone besides his Bya, Nykel. His has a vested interest in his wife but there is no attachment to her, just wary acknowledgement since she is also a Zmutwe. Both of them see themselves as the rulers of all vnou.

While not exactly a violent person, physically, Reldyn is not above using his considerable power as a Zmutwe to simply get people to do what he wants. Especially in small, private settings. Because of his high grade, many are simply afraid to be alone with him. Even amongst nobility, it is terrible form to manipulate others against their will. It's believed that being around others is some sort of shield against a Zmutwe's domination - and it's a cultivated belief that Reldyn is happy to let them believe. Though he is incredibly reluctant to do anything that would tip his hand, as even a Zmutwe would fall to enough Shra.

Media Presence and Popularity

Though he has a personal distate for what propaganda is, Shpazh weilds it like a weapon as much, if not more so, than any of the other nobility families. As the current Patriarch, he spends more time than he cares under some sort of spotlight, allowing carefully curated information to be presented to the public so they feel in touch with the nobility - though they have absolutely no idea what the families really do or what they're about. As such, he allows gossip columns to run rampant and speculate on all manner of things, from where he might travel to next, to who is the parent of his children. To any other nobility, it is unthinkable to even suggest that he would have someone besides Vesurna. But to the dramatics of the common vnou, Vesurna is no more powerful than Reldyn and thus they are frequently the talk of all manner of rumor. One of the most prevalent ones is that Reldyn has a secret relationship with Vesurna's Bya, Tanenna.

When Reldyn met Nykel:

"I don't need to see any others. This one is it, this one was made for me."

Motivation

There is an element of self preservation to everything that Reldyn does. Since he sits atop the world, in some form or fashion no matter how much others might not want it to be true, he has enemies just by existing as the Patriarch of the Shpazh. He inherited an Empire and the weight of the history that comes with his family name. He absolutely does not want his name to be the one that brings any sort of downfall or shame to the bloodline. Built upon that self preservation is a mountain of arrogance and intelligence. He was groomed from birth, told he was the best, the brightest, the most powerful. Coming into the power of a Zmutwe, it's difficult for many to challenge that claim personally. He is grounded somewhat by the sweet nature of his Bya, but otherwise Reldyn would see the world burn if it meant that's what had to be done to get what he wants.

Vices and Flaws

Reldyn's most obvious vice is his arrogance and pride. It is incredibly difficult for him to accept the counsel of others, even if they might be experts in whatever field might be relavent. He might admit ignorance but quickly erase the moment from the memory of whomever he is talking to at the time, so even if he has shown himself to be fallible and flawed, hardly anyone remembers it. His image is quite important. This tinkering has become almost second nature even if it is a wild taboo amongst all vnou, even the nobility. Vesurna, his wife, is aware he's done it a time or two but even she is not aware of the extent that Reldyn messes with people's minds.
