House Whiteshield is among the most ancient houses in Vitallia. Its name goes back to the First Age and the union of the tribes when Humans sided with the Gods to fight against Nedel in the Great War. The Whiteshield line has produced numerous powerful figures that have earned their place in the histories.

House Whiteshield has remained in charge of Lothen throughout the ages. The Whiteshield line consists of proud knights, warriors and people who believe to natural born rulers. The Whiteshields have never lived humble lives, away from the power and riches of their house. The Whiteshield line suffered greatly due to their association with secret vampire clans that had authority over Lothenian affairs, a tradition that was initiated with the branding of Akreyn Thiaspis as king's councilor during the Great War.
