Stagniphytes
This branch of plants is one of the major Phylum under the Ela kingdom. This group contains the alge like speices of plants that covered the ocean surface. Now still prevlant as the foundation of the ocena ecosystem the Stagniphytes are much less widespread allowing for sunlight to penetrate deeper into the ocean. The impact on the enviroment made by these organisms lead to the conditions needed for the other branchs of plant Phylum to evolve. This was one of the earliest branches on the plant tree.
