Leviphytes

This branch of plants is one of the major Phylum under the Ela kingdom. This group would be the main group to diversify and spread along the ocean floor aswell as larger floating structures underneath the surface of the water.
These plants orginally evolved strong root like structures to hold onto the top of the Stagniphytes islands that darkened the oceans. They evolved the ability to change the density of the material around them to allow for portions of them to float both in water and in the air. The majority of these plants can be found both in ocean and freshwater enviroments floating in the water and attaching itself to the ocean float.
However a distinct class of these plants evolved to float in the air completly only touching the ground occasionally to absorb neutrients. It otherwise stays near especially humid environments or even all the way into the clouds.
