Magiquake
This Phenomena happens when large amounts of Magic is trapped in one location. As the natural push of Magic is to achieve entropy, equal distribution across the universe when too many are in one localized place they let out a large burst of energy which can cause devastating effects on the area of which it is centralized. These events also have a range of power dependent on how long they accumulate and how much Magic are involved.
- Small scale Magiquakes are not uncommon and have been known to happen with some regularity at the poles during Aurora events. These also are often seen during the death of powerful mages as when their Faeyrin Sack losses its magical field containing its Magic it ruptures causing all of their stored Magic to escape from the body at once. This can range in power depended on the power of the Mage. The largest of these ever recorded covered a mile diameter area destroying the city of Spiritset.
- Medium sized Magiquakes effect whole regions causing widespread damage, these are often tied with volcanic activity but can also be caused by large enough groups of Mages releasing their Magic all at once in large spells. This is however rarely achievable. These type of Magiquakes are able to destroy whole kingdoms or change the environment of an region for thousands of years.
- Large scale Magiquakes are extremely rare and only one has been theorized to happen, being the Magiquake that may have caused the formation of Alintar, the northern most continent of Vita'ul. These Magiquakes have the power to change whole continents and take millions of years to form but could forever change our world.
