The shears of Yahloveol is an angelic weapon, created for the executioner Yahloveol to enact punishment on angels who strayed from the righteous path. After a millennia of using the shears at the request of the Elder of Life itself, the power and responsibility of using the shears broke the mind of Yahloveol. Forcing him to be on the receiving end of the shears and banished from Heaven.

The Angel of Execution:

In earlier days, the realm of souls followed a strict structure. Each domain knew exactly how things were done. Everything seen in black and white. From the deities ruling to the creatures that did their bidding. Demons knew which souls to torture, Wraith knew which souls to collect and Angels knew which mortals to bless. But that all changed when the angel Lucifer betrayed the Elder of Life.
Attempting to overthrow the god-like being and become heavens new ruler. His plans ultimately failed and was brought to his knees before the Elder, who commanded that his wings were chopped off and exiled from Heaven. The angel of crafting, Arteus, presented the Elder a pair of shears that were capable of completing such a task. But the Elder refused to commit the act itself and asked who of its faithful followers would be willing to do it instead.
Only one rose to the occasion, the angel known as Yahloveol. So, the new executioner took hold of the shears and clipped the wings of Lucifer. Throwing him out of Heaven and watching him fall into the mortal plane to his presumable death. From that forward, Yahloveol was given the title of Executioner. With his primary duty being to dispose of fallen angels with his angelic weapon.
The angel carried his responsibility with pride and honour. At time moved on, and more and more angels rebelled against the wishes of Heaven, Yahloveol was forced to punish several of his brothers and sisters. Eventually growing to love the sound of screaming angelic beings and taking pleasure in watching them suffer. This blood lust that had grown inside the angel was beginning to get noticed. So the high ranking angels took matters into their own hands and banished Yahloveol from Heaven. Using his own shears to chop off his wings and kick him from the realm of souls. As for the shears, they were locked away by their creator, Arteus. Hidden in a vault so they would never be used by another angel again.

Abilities:

The shears are made of some unknown golden metal. Highly durable and able to be sharpened enough to cut through a tree trunk like butter. The shears themselves can deal 1d10 worth of melee damage, with a chance to cause the bleed condition upon a critical roll.
If the shears are used against an enemy that originates from the realm of souls (angels, demons, wraith, lost souls etc.) then the shears radiate with angelic light and deal an additional 1d4 worth of melee damage.
