Natives to the realm of Fairies, this race are known to be sentient magic wielders. Complete with history, deities and cities similar to that of the realm of Magic. Capable of flying around with wings on their back and an integral part to the Age of Exploration.

Appearance:

Fairy kind come in all shapes and sizes. Some tall, some short. Some with blonde hair and others with dark. But every fairy shares the same qualities which identifies them as such. The most obvious being their translucent wings that protrude from their backs. Something that every fairy is born with, they are an extension to the beings the same way an arm or leg is to Sorcerers. The second noticeable features is a pair of oversized ears, pointed at the ends. A common trait they share with Elves. Finally there is the common height, a difficult thing to determine given their abilities to alter size at will. But talking this race, most will agree that they are anywhere between 1ft and 4 ft tall. And shorter and they might be a Sprite in disguise, any taller and you maybe descendant of Elves.

Abilities:

Fly - Despite the proportion of wing to body, every fairy is capable of flight. As long as their wings aren't damaged and have the endurance to do so. Long flight times can drain the same way running a marathon tires out a human.
Limited Magic - Using the magical properties of Fairy Dust, fairies are capable of various spells. Including but not limited too; illusions, minor healing, simple elemental manipulation and summoning.
Size Manipulation - The size of a fairy is hard to define, given that they have the ability to change size at will. Shrinking to a quarter of their orginal size or growing twice the height of their body. This ability is very helpful as they traverse the forests of their natural habitat.

Relations:

Elves - It is unclear why fairies and elves dislike each other. Perhaps it is an innate feeling that has been embedded into the minds of both races since the dawn of time, but they will avoid each other when given the chance.
Jynx - The regenerating Jynx and winged fairy kind rarely disagree with one another. With both being fond of the other, often seen in history fighting alongside and aiding each other in conflicts against bigger threats.

Ah yes, Fairies. I must admit I am rather fond of those creatures. Mostly a friendly group of creatures with extraordinary cities. I have yet to be invited into one by my winged associates, but I expect the chance will arise in one of my lifetimes.

Sorcerers - The long history between fairies and sorcerers is one that is based on a solid foundation. With both species seeing the others as allies, even after the disbanding of the Aura Alliance.
