Court of Fae
The realm of Fairies has many gods, deities and celestial beings that the civilizations prayer to. From the ancient manifestations of nature itself to the various large cats of feline kind. But none are more wide spread and commonly known than the Court of Fae. A pantheon of deities said to be the creators of fairy kind and all that exists within the world.
While the court has many gods and goddesses, all related in some form or fashion. The major four are seen as the leaders of the court. The first four deities in which all other descend from and the ones with the most stories, shrines and well known across the realm of Fairies.
Oberan
The king of the fairies. A father figure who helped mould the first winged creatures and looks after all of their descendants. Given many titles including The Protector and The Watcher. Portrayed with an oversized crown made of roots and moss and royal garments made of pure gold.Danu
The love to King Oberan, Danu is the Goddess of Growth, fertility and the mother of all fairy kind. Often depicted with long flowing robes, pale skin and hands capable of blessing those who offer her gifts. Sometimes given the title of The Mother, The Goddess of Growth and The Goddess of Fertility. When I was just a youngling, zipping around the branching paths of Garla, we often prayed to Danu, the Godess of Growth. I wasn't sure why until I was older. But, the blessing of the court, the watchful eyes of our creators, it gives purpose to life. They gave us the chance to do something and make something of ourselves, so we thank them for it. Whether its Danu, King Oberan or one of the others. Either way, I am going to take every chance they give me. Now, where's the gunpowder.
