Married to Nero Excindare, which is in and of itself rare. Marriages across eternity rarely last. This one, while once being only political, seems to be a match made in hell. She and her husband share a sadistic streak that rivals all but the most vile of liches and tyrants of history.
When at diplomatic parties, she will often flaunt her maiden name so as to disturb guests who have not grown accustomed to it. This is especially of interest to the Moser family, from where she initially hails, as custom dictates that she be invited to important family events, though she is not permitted to vote anymore. Her presence is a persistent disruption and she seems to revel in taunting the children with the knowledge of her presence.
Her presence is both a safety net for the Moser Family and a black mark. As long as she lives, Vering-Gol and Ibral can make no moves against the Moser family by way of a bloodline curse. This allows them to maintain the spread of their family despite the existence of this type of devastating magic. However, she shames them with her acts of depravity, not to mention her affinity towards blood magic.

If there were ever a person to whom you would look at and say, she is a vampire, it would be Nyx. She seems to revel in the utterly inhuman appearance, accentuating it in a darkly beautiful way.

Beginning originally as a political marriage with the fledgling nation of Ibral, Nyx's father came to regret that when his daughter returned home utterly alien and changed. Over the years, it seems as though the duo have gotten closer and closer, revlling in the slaughter across a hundred battlefields.
