In terms of magical power, he is considered the least of his kin in the Perdicia Family. However, he is well know for not playing quite by the rules of magic and contorting it or making use of it in interesting ways. His power set is interesting in its own way, this is assumed to be the reason he is kept around. Not beside the fact that he has been an instrumental general in the campaigns of the Excindare family and their subsidiary houses.

Beginning originally as a political marriage with the fledgling nation of Ibral, Nyx's father came to regret that when his daughter returned home utterly alien and changed. Over the years, it seems as though the duo have gotten closer and closer, revlling in the slaughter across a hundred battlefields.
