Amber

Amber, similar to the fossilised tree resin of our world, is an orange, round stone. However, Amber is also the energy source for the Da' people and their practice of Animomancy , or Mind magic. Amber is often used as jewelry by Da' warlords which allows them to hone their psychic powers and greater use the Animomagic avaliable to them. Because of the seriously destructive nature of Animomancy, Amber is seen as a dangerous material to handle, even by those not sensitive to its enhancing abilities and is banned in the Kingdoms of Kingdom of Sen and Kingdom of Cul due to its association with the 'barbarous enemy' of the Da' as well as its naturally destructiv e tendencies. Due to its position on the ring of magic, Amber decays when in contact with Nettle essence, and in turn will cause nettles to decay.
