Headed by a King, which is normally a Hereditary position. The king has lower advisors, who in whom enacts the will of the king, and run they lower departments.

Culture

Descending from an Older Elven Monarchy, the Kaiadar Monarchy, many of the laws and traditions still remain, however, the general demographics of the nation have changed, with humans becoming the dominant group in the region.

History

After the fall of the Kaiadar Monarchy, one of the off groups of the previous fiefdoms settled in Talodain (now called Talo) known as the Harlau family held much of the wealth of the previous Empire. This allowed them to sustain a moderate fighting force to wave off the barons that fell into rule due to the power vacuum the fall of the Kaidars created. Over time, they shifted to diplomacy, attempting to absorb the smaller nations that came to being in the region. The nation was cemented in 948 as the Western nation led by the Argon family combined with the Harlau family, and cementing Argon family rule since.

Currency

Prints its own currency, denoted as pieces of Copper, silver and gold. These coins are the same weight as the coins used throughout the continent and thus are normally interchangeable with currency from the Republic of Holandia.
