The Queen (or King) is the ruler of Haven. Held by the Ashkevron line since the city's founding in 78 TA by Kaarlo Ashkevron. The current leader is Alara Askhevron .
The crown is not always passed to the firstborn however. The heir is actually chosen by the magical sword Trueheart, that when held by the correct person explodes with golden fire and a clear bell tone.
