A collection of alchemists, healers, and gifted who have come together to train the young and ensure the health of the kingdom. Many of these collegium trained healers find themselves stationed in villages and town throughout
Ellebore. Those who are especially gifted or elderly remain at the academy teaching or work as gifted healers in the hospital.
Healer's Hall
The largest of the buildings that make up the Collegium, the hall was two stories in height with a bluish-gray slate roof. Most of the first level was constructed of dressed fieldstone with the second level framed in a reddish wood, with mud and wattle finishing the walls.
Both dormitory and school, most of the first level was taken up with offices and classrooms, while the upper level was several open dorms for students as well as smaller apartments for faculty and staff. A large greenhouse is connected on one side via a covered walkway and several beds of various, more weather resistant, healing herbs grow around it. A second covered walkway on the other side connected the hall with the infirmary, with lush ornamental gardens on either side.
Infirmary
A long single story building of the same cut stone as the palace, the infirmary was where the students practiced their craft, both magical and mundane, under the eye of their teachers. Along side the students were specialists, experts in their craft, and together they care for the sick of
Haven as well those difficult cases that are brought here from other places.
The entire interior was tiled in large squares that looked white when viewed directly, but when viewed at an angle had a pale yellow/green tint. Patient beds, both single and group, take up much of the building, but there are procedure rooms, offices, and even a clinic that saw to the needs that did not require longer stays.
Stable
Near one end of the infirmary is a large barn and paddock where infirm or ailing animals can be brought. Many of the students begin here where the horses and sheep can't complain if they are a little unpolished. Some find they love working with animals more than with people and become devoted Animal Healers.
