Darnet Hall

The Darnet family hall sits not far from the town of Duskcairn, with the house itself at the center of a 2 mile sq estate with high dark stone wall. Just inside the gate, the gate house is a good-sized two story building with a large stable. The road up to the main house winds in tree line glory with the occasional statue or artistic flower beds.   Standing on a low hill, the hall is a three-story square of a dark stone with the occasional red streaks, around an inner courtyard. Two newer two-story wings build of red bricks flank off to the left and right and another stable and several other outbuildings surround the family seat.

Other Locations Within the Estate

Mausoleum
The Darnet family crypts are quite extensive, having been the rulers of this land for over 400 years. They are managed by Brio Moonstone, the family bonekeeper.    The main chamber is a circular room with open archways leading to five other circular chambers. Six statues of angels stand along the walls between the doorways and a large carved marble sepulcher at the center. Each of the statues was in a different pose. Starting to the left and going clockwise; hands folded in pray with a set of beads, holding a book, holding a urn, holding a crook, holding a lantern, and number six holding a shield.   Upon inspection the tomb belongs to Orvali Darlington, founder of the family.     All of the other room have large braziers at the center that glow with a dim light. They also produce thin streams of smoke that fill the crypts with a musky, bitter scent. The room directly across from the staircase is  where the bodies are first interred. The walls of this room are covered with a number of stone plates, each capping a burial site.    The other chambers seem to be final resting places for the bones of the various family members. Low stone shelves were carved into the walls and each neat pile of bones had a name and dates chiseled into the rock below it. The first chamber to the left is full and the first room to the right is also about two-thirds full. Of the other two rooms, one has flat stone walls while the other had a half dozen inlets around the room.
Lakehouse
There is a lovey lodge/lakehouse on the shore of a small lake
Alchemy Workship
There is a small, but clean workshop behind the hall. It has several tables full of alchemy equipment, but very little in the way of ingredients or reagents.
