Bel Khildor
Built in 327 TA by Durgeddin the Black and his followers after being driven out of their home by a horde of fierce goliaths and trolls. After two years of wandering, the dwarves discovered a great cavern system beneath the Stone Tooth: a rugged, forested hill crowned by a bare rocky crag along the northern side of the Carsano Range. Nothing has been heard from that clan in over a century and because Durgeddin insisted on secrecy, no one actually knows where it is any longer.
Durgeddin had been driven mad by the attack and swore oaths of vengeance against ALL trolls and goliaths. For several years he and his followers used the stronghold as a base from which to launch raids on the other races of the Northern Reaches.
The dwarven hall was eventually sacked in 432 TA by a collected force of Durgeddin's enemies. Digging a tunnel directly from the surface into the Glitterhame, they avoided the Mountain Door and the majority of the defenses. Since the fall of the stronghold, the abandoned halls have been used by a variety of races and creatures.
In 498 TA a group of adventurers, including a great niece of Durgenddin, explored the lost stronghold while searching for the leader of an army of Northerners who threated Wexwood and the rest of the Emotha Collective.
