Corellon

The Arch Heart

Corellon is the father of elves and fey creatures, patron of art and magic, and god of the stars. He has a mercurial, passionate personality, but he's a kindhearted deity.
Though usually referred to as a "he" in Common, Corellon is beautifully androgynous and can change his form at will; he sometimes blesses mortal elves with this gift. Regardless, he prefers to take the form of a gold elf.
Of all the Corrupted Gods, Corellon has the most intense enmity with Llolth. Back when she was called Araushnee, she was in a triad with him and Sehanine, and he loved them both dearly. But Araushnee's explorations of magic and divination led her down dark paths. She betrayed her lovers, and her wicked deeds changed her into the awful being known as Llolth. Corellon is still heartbroken by her betrayal (as is Sehanine), but at the same time he's infuriated by the atrocities her followers have committed; he believes that she's far beyond redemption at this point. His other main enemy is Gruumsh, whose eye he shot out during one of the great battles of the Dawn War.

Divine Domains

Corellon is associated with springtime, art, music, arcane magic, and all things beautiful. He is considered the progenitor of elves and highest of the archfey. All elves besides Llolth's followers regard him as their patron, including good drow who have turned away from the Spider Queen's evil ways.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Corellon's symbol is a pair of crescent moons, back to back, imposed on a four-pointed star.
