The Swadian Remnants
The Fall of Legasa
For reasons that are now lost to time, our young kingdom waged war agaisnt our eternal enemy, and our grandfather from the eyes of history. We were, as its common, winning the war, We had Pornum in view of our countless legions and experienced cavalry, but what came next was something not even our smartest of generals could have predicted. The Onis were back, yes those of the children stories. No, I'm not crazy, we got their message loud and clear. What transpired in Legasa, the accounts of those who survived by accepting servitude to the Drow, it's... It's just too much to bear so I won't write about it. Suffice to say, our campaigning was done, Our Emperor look back towards home. The Priestesses cheered on while we retreated, they hadn't caught on, they were next.
An uneasy Alliance
Emperor Manfred was the first casualty of the siege on Legasa, He had approached the city gates with his detachment to show them Onis they were surrounded 10 - 1. They weren't afraid, Vitiate wished him to end in a second, Next came the rain of fire, then the Drows ambushed us from Unknown Cave system below Legasa. I heard General Shepard managed to escape with his ship, the rest I took with me to the mountains. I took charge of the continental effort, Shepard went on to seek the Congregations support. Emmisaries came and went from Dhumbar and back. We brokered a peace and an pact to end the Onis, together.
The Divine
I've never been a woman of faith, but I catched glimpse of a god-woken and must I say they hold terrible power, it's no wonder Vitiate was able to defeat us so swiftly. We lost 3 more cities today, only villages left, our navy is all but destroyed. I've heard the Congregation bend the knee to the invader, puppets. The Divitum formed, I was able to send some support, perhaps the New World holds some hope of resistance. Pornum fell a week ago, haven't heard anything from our holy friends, guess they are lost. I pray to you once again Grey Seer, your's be the time inmemorial.
The Third Siege of Legasa
With most of their troops in the ancient temple across the water we marched towards Legasa one last time, if we aren't to take our Homeland, then we are to raize it to the ground. Or so was the plan... The drow had already done that, it was unrecognizable, their architecture dominated ours, replaced it, repurpose it. We fired all cannon until we ran out of black powder, then we went into hiding again. Something happened at The Academy, and I'm not one to put my men at risk by staying out here in the open.
The Gods are dead
I've heard my men whisper about all the Gods being dead, no one answers our prayers and the forest has started to die, We have seen several Drow ship flying around for a few moments only to plummet to the ground or downright explode, our casters are also extremely unreliable. It might be better to put them to rest, they're a liability. As of the Onis, no one has seen them ever since... Perhaps its time to settel down in the Peninsula. Perhaps its best to move on...
