A winged and scaled race of creatures that has evolved and branched outwards into many different creatures to date. Were known as 'Bahal' in the past.

Basic Information

Anatomy

All Bahal are born with six limbs in total, including their wings. Bahal range in various different sizes, lengths, and physical mass. Next to Kiza, they are nearly the most diverse species in all of Veskrea.

Genetics and Reproduction

Female Bahal will choose a mate according to either their vibrancy, display of intelligence, or display of skill and/or brawn. Such tastes will differ from individual to individual, so it is not set in stone for which a Female Bahal may prefer. Once she has chosen her mate and is blessed with a batch of eggs, she will lay a cluster of up to eleven within her chosen place for a nest.

Ecology and Habitats

Bahal will live anywhere that teems with life. So long as it is habitable, they will thrive there. However, if the species of Bahal is adept to life in the cold verses life in the heat and vice versa, it is unlikely they will choose to thrive in said habitat that makes them uncomfortable or therefore threatens their life.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Bahal diets are as diverse as the many descendants within their biomes. Many are carnivorous, others are omnivorous, and a handful are herbivores. Few are even eaters of carrion and freshmeat alike.

Social Structure

Bahal are fairly sociable creatures and will gather together to create an entire society. However, this may not fit some Bahal agendas. Others may prefer a much more solitary form of life and may prefer to live alone.
