The Silver Scales

Structure

The Silver Scales value money as a source of power. As such, they organize by the amount of money one makes. This is done less on holdings and more on a rating of how much business one is able to do. Those at the top have large mercantile structures under them and those towards the bottom end have maybe just a stand or cart, not even a permanent building.

Public Agenda

The Scales serve the city as a centralized place to request goods. It also enforces laws on fair trading and business between members and as an arbiter between merchants and customers when one comes up. To own a business in Vorgan one either need be sneaky or be a member of the Silver Scales. This means that many tradesmen who own their own shops also belong to the Silver Scales so as to be recognized as a legitimate business.

Assets

They have a large guild hall that is regularly bustling with traders and merchants as well as customers placing orders large enough to require going to the guild.
