Collector

Qualifications

There are no qualifications required to be a Collector, but a person must have spent at least 5 years in each of the other positions on the Providers pathway. Not everyone makes it to being a Collector, as they are in charge or the entire collection of goods.

Appointment

A person becomes a Collector having proved their worth as a Gatherer. There are only a certain number of Collectors required in any settlement, depending on the number of people being provided for, so someone can only become a Collector when a position becomes available.

Duties

The Collector's duties are:

1. Ensure that the Sorters have their responsibilities
2. Understand what requirements the community has
3. Collect and deliver goods to the Gatherer's Holdings 
4. Distribute the goods to the areas of the settlement where they are needed

Responsibilities

Collectors are responsible for everyone in the Providers pathway. They help to train up the Sorters and teach them about the path they have chosen. They are also responsible for liaising with other people within the settlement, including Rulers to understand requirements and ensure they are not over collecting.
