Session 1 Report

General Summary

Party decided to go to Birch Quarry before going directly to Oppisal. On the way there, they encountered a bear, and cub, but managed to stay away from it. They arrived at Birch Quarry in the evening and encoutnered a young man named Robby, he was the lookout for that night. Entered a tavern named the Quarry Lodgings, it was a fairly busy evening for them, got some drinks and spoke to a warrior named Perry, the Ealdorman of the village. He told them they have had trouble with Kobolds recently as they burned down their trading post. He will pay the party 25 per Kobold Head. shortly after, they heard Robby's bell ring, indicating an attack took place. They rushed to his aid. Robby survived, nearly, and took a stone to the head. Party took the heads, while Rho and Yerin tried to see where the Kobold prints came from. After they lost the track, they went back to the village, where TT was cooking a stew using Kobold eyes. Turned out quite well. Arranged a new business agreement, they will receive 250 gold for destroying the Kobold nest, in addition to the 25 per head. Nafikta threatened the bar keeper with fire magic after he refused to reduce the price for rooms by even more. In the morning, the party started the search for the lair. It is proving fairly hard to find, as the kobolds take great care to make fake trails, as to lead predators astray. The party went in a wrong direction when they heard a sound from behind, Rho attacked by throwing a javelin, they heard a high pitched shriek.
