Biological Traits

Water Genasi tend to be built larger than the standard human. They manifest their elemental nature in a number of ways:

• They appear to have just finished bathing, with droplets of water clinging to their skin at all times, and water constantly seeming wet and slicked back.

• Blue and green tinged skin, colored faintly like the sea, and eyes slightly overlarge with dark liquid hues

• They smell of fresh rivers and have the tang of the ocean around them always.

• Hair that seems to flow as if underwater, or that sways with the tide.

Genetics and Reproduction

Water Genasi are the result of a union between a Madrid Djinn and another humanoid parent. They can also manifest if a humanoid mother is exposed to tremendous magical energy influenced by the Elemental Plane of Water.

When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the create or destroy water spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait, and you regain the ability to cast it this way when you finish a long rest. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
