The Thirteenth Layer of the Abyss
A contested plane of The Abyss where Devils, Demons, and Daemons all hold sway. This layer is primarily a hot rocky wasteland. It is cut in half by the river styx and a central loch and mountain range are its most distinguishable features.
Fauna & Flora
Little grows on this level of the Abyss. A forest of petrified trees can be found in De'a'loth's old territory.
Natural Resources
Abyssal Stone can be mined in the De'a'loth mines.
Infernal Flame constantly burns in the Mera Infernal Fields.
Giant ruby formations grow in the Tre'zan Ruby fields.
History
This layer was originally contested by the Daemon Ultroloth De'a'loth and the Devil Pit Fiend Ra'ne'ka. The Redalian Empire launched The First Abyssal Crusade where they killed De'a'loth leaving his holdings in ruin before Ra'ne'ka's forces led a horde of demons to meet the Witch Hunters. The Witch Hunters were slain and Ra'ne'ka's Legion destroyed the remaining Demons. Ra'ne'ka now patrols the thirteenth layer to prevent as many Demons as possible from travelling upward towards The Nine Hells.
