The Seredine is a lively seafaring race that lives in the Vauxset Province. They are a rowdy bunch who spends as much time in the water as they do on land.

Anatomy

A humanoid race whose arms and legs are covered in scales with patches of them spread across the rest other bodies. Their hands and feet are also webbed to help them swim more efficiently They also have shark like teeth and finned ears.

Their primary food source is fish, though they are omnivorous.

Social Structure

They operate on a clan system with a particular clan of historic significance leading them all. Despite this the leaders of said clans are not chosen on heredity but on skill and competence at the discretion of the current leader.

Facial characteristics

Where the women are very fair and pretty often described as enchanting with hypnotizing eyes that resemble the sea they so love, Men tend to be stronger featured often described as rough but handsome with the same eyes. Long flowing hair that has a mind of it's own is common among both genders ranging from sun-kissed blonde to pitch black.

They Can be found in almost any place with a decent amount of water, as they run the water based trade routes of the empire. They do however prefer their home in Vauxset.

When it comes to the sea and aquatic transportation and trade there are none more skilled and knowledgeable.

They are capable of breathing underwater and can see better as well. They are also incredibly fast swimmers.

Women among the Seredine are the planners and architects, they are the ones that keep everyone going and decide what areas to fish in and explore at a given time. The Men are the ones who do the physical labor and make sure that the plans are followed and that things get done. They also provide safe passage for ships.

The Seredine are romantic idealists when it comes to courtship. They go out of their way to provide small trinkets that make the other smile, take them to beautiful places, and spend a large amount of time together to get to know one another as well as possible.

They are a rowdy bunch that enjoy a good party and take pride in everything they do. They are incredibly enthusiastic about most of what life has to offer. As a whole it is rare to see one of them angry or truly downtrodden. They adore dance, music, drink, and time spent among friends.

While on land their blue, purple, green, and black scales seem very bright and eye catching underwater they help to camoflage the Seredine. Their skin tends towards sun-kissed tans and rich vibrate olives.
