Reclamation
I promise a tomorrow free of decay, a tomorrow unburdened by the rot that so stifles life as we know it. I will remake this land, nay, this world so that death holds no dominion over life. A world in which the rot and decay of ours is eradicated, and none have to suffer any longer! All will hail our Lady in Green, Marëanna; may Her recovery be swift once I have dredged her broken body from the Great Beneath! Mother of Life deliver us, cleanse this stained world with your oceanic beauty, so that mortal-kind may prosper once more!

Tenets of Faith
Core Dogma & Beliefs
“The sea is both the womb and the tomb, a place of beginnings and endings. To perish on land is a curse, a true denial of the Mother's grace. All dead are to be returned to the sea if at all possible, so that they may rejoin Her in the Great Beneath to wait for their salvaton.
“To stagnate in life is to sin against our Lady in Green, as life is in eternal motion like the tides. The dead must be returned to the water, but so must the living at some point, as sacrifice is one of the most sacred duties of Her children.
“As salt permeates the sea, so too does our blood; therefore, it is with solumn conviction that blood must be spilled into the sea, so that we may carry life back to the Mother. Salt cleanses both body and soul, and only the most devout may undergo the Baptism of Return.
“The abyss in which the Mother rests is eternally hungry, and demands offerings—to feed the abyss is to nourish Her, to nurture her strength. Listen close to that murky darkness, and those that are true to our cause will hear Her whispering, begging for our unyielding devotion.”
—Neshar, Herald of the Drowned
Tenets
- The Waters Must Be Fed
- While sacrifice for any ambitious cause is a given, only the greatest among them bring the great Mother closer to her rebirth. Offerings must only be of those that are willing; however, unwilling sacrifices are still sacred if drowned and bled properly.
- All Things Return to the Tides
- To rot on land is to fill the belly of that wretched Hostling, therefore all corpses must be weighted and sent to the briny depths. To die in the water is a blessing, a sign of divine favor bestowed upon those deemed fit by the Mother. To deny the sea's claim on the dead is to be damned eternally to the Raven's maw.
- Drink the Salt, Know the Truth
- Drink of the salt water during rituals, consume only the ocean's bounty during periods of holy significance. To partake in Her offerings one allows Her in, granting clairvoyance and visions of what is to come. Initiates are to be held beneath the waves until they commune with the Mother, and receive her blessed visions.
- The Tides Will Drown the Ruined World
- A flood that will wash the world clean will come; it will herald a time of change, of upheaval, of salvaton. The rot will be excised, the decay cleansed, the festering heap of what has become of civilization erased from the land. Only those that choose to embrace her tides may be saved.
