Arborros Swamp (Arr-bore-ohs)
Geography
A large permanently flooded swamp filled with run off from the nearby mountains. The air is heavy with humidity and frequent rains.
Ecosystem Cycles
Water levels rise dramatically in the late winter and spring. Late summer and fall are the driest times of the year, water levels can drop enough to see mud in the shallow waters.
Fauna & Flora
Many of the plants are oversized, the trees often growing between 175 - 300' (53 - 92m). Large green leaves float on top of the water strong enough to support one to two individuals. Orchids, other air plants, and moss are among the species growing on the branches of the trees.
The water is teeming with aquatic life including the sought after Colossal Craw.
