Melíssa
Melíssa, the Wanderer, once Ellaris Cutflower, took on the great task of telling the tale of what had happened on the day that Ithicus fell. The heart-wrenching ballad of The Fall of the Shimmering City would be passed down through generations, and the prose epic Heroes of Ithicus was told and retold, gaining a life of its own and eventually viewed as a fantastical work of fiction.
During his life, Melíssa traveled and shared his compositions across Korris, and his performances were renowned, known to be powerfully moving to those who were lucky enough to attend.
What became of Melíssa is unknown; it is only known that one day he mysteriously disappeared. Before his disappearance, he was said to speak often of a voice calling to him from the seas. He was frequently observed sitting quietly with his ear against the iridescent shell lyre that he carried. Some poets like to say that he went to find the voice of the ocean.
