Kairos Thalassis

The Triton warrior Kairos Thalassis is a larger than life figure from Korrian history. The earliest records of Kairos depict him as a gladiator in the early Kalaphadian Games - one who would have won were it not for the assassination of the senator Mytemos at the hands of Those Who Remain during the award ceremony. This spurred him to join the group of heroes who would go on to be known as the Heroes of Ithicus. He is credited with protecting the people of Ithicus during the events of Jahar's Descent and subsequently founding and defending the modern-day city of Natathys against the monsters pouring from the rift.   Kairos was the son of Tychon Thalassis, a merchant lord of house Thalassis (one of the founding families of the ancient city of Ithicus), and Melite Neros, a daughter of one of the old triton families from their ocean settlements in the Vandrian Ocean.   It is said he had a very close relationship with the bard Zephyr, but the most prominent song about him, The Sea Rises (A Song for Her People), was written by his fellow hero, Melíssa.
