Starlight

The starlight church is there to protect the feywild from corruption, while it does not get rid of it, it sure does put it at bay. Norma is the goddess that is worshipped. She lays it clear on what the job of a cleric and paladin is and how to carry it out. She has provided the people of the feywilds the ability to take the light of the stars and use it against those who wish to do them harm.

Public Agenda

Stopping the spread of the Corruption and protecting what is already there, all the while regaining what has been lost, in the hopes of removing Za'strasz grasps.

History

This religion has been around for many elven generations but really took off when Za'strasz started the corruption apocalypse. Though it was a tough battle and everything seemed to be not turning to the favor of the starlight goddess more so when the Eladrin fled and the corruption took over one of the strongest cities. There was one glimmer of hope and it was very cold, Ice Mother stepped in, not wanting to lose her footing either. The two joined together and was able to push Za'strasz into another plane, allowing Norma to regain control over her land once more. She started to regain her followers and was able to rebuild some, though it still was not the same. That was until the Eladrin returned and the religion was able to fourish once more.

Divine Origins

The religion has been around since the beginning of the feywilds as the Norma had always had a fascination with the fey creatures. The religion did not really become more of thing until Za'strasz showed up and started to spread the Corruption. The goddess responded by giving power to those that were very determined to protect their land. Soon or later the Eladrin were able to come up with ways to protect the fey creatures and provided shelter and food for as many as they could. Though with all the help it was not enough because Za'strasz was getting stronger and stronger, and the Eladrin ran away. Everything seemed hopeless that is until Norma got the help from the Ice Mother and her warlocks. The two deities were able to banish the god of the void and send him to a different plane where he resides to this day.

Tenets of Faith

Norma wants her followers to help all that they can, or protect what they have for as long as there is a little bit of starlight there is hope. The clerics must help the corrupted within their area by using the starlight blessing that gives, they must also heal the sick and defend their church. The paladins are to defend against the corruption and keep it from gaining any more ground or push it back.

Priesthood

For a cleric or paladin to become a priest they must go through a trial by warding off any corruption, pushing back, and reclaiming their land, only then will Norma appoint them to be a priest. Though that is not the only thing she will judge on, she will also judge on character and intent. If the intent is to gain nothing more than power, she may restrict your abilities, if the intent is to help the helpless, she may guide you. If your character is greed, or easily influenced then limit your abilities, though if you show strength and strategy she will grant you blessing and guide you through the trial.
