Norma (NOR-mah)

About Norma

Norma, a woman who cares more about the feywilds than anyone else, a person who cared so much that they ascended into godhood. She wishes nothing more than for the feywilds to return to their normal state and will stop at nothing, making her laws both strict and lack. 

Appearance

She is believed to be of a fairy decent due to the fact she has a glow to herself and that she has what looks to be fairy wings, though the wings have never been seen among fairies, so some theorize that she may have been a completely different race that the fairy had descended from and then went extinct due to the Corruption. Other than that, she has short wavy hair that tends to glimmer in the night when the sky is clear, her skin looks like a soft purple, and her eyes also shimmer in the night, almost like a star. This is what follower and priests who have visited say she looks like, though no can know for sure. 

Attitude

It has been reported that she can be rather stern in stressful situations, though she herself does not appear to be stress, some have said that they have sensed it. She has also been known to show support and has even made visits to children who have lost their families, doing her best to comfort them. Other than that, with her clerics, paladins, and priests who have been around for a while, she is known to have a more demanding voice that one cannot simply ignore. Being known for being blunt and upfront with how she felt and thought, giving criticisms and orders like some general training and commanding an army.

Holy Books & Codes

She mostly will speak through her clerics and paladins, if there is a priest near by she will speak with them. Though she does have the rules and the purpose of the religion be written down and passed among all of the followers of the church. She will visit them in their dreams or when they are in a dream-like state, allowing her enough time to give the message or warning.

Tenets of Faith

Starlight is the only way to rid the feywilds of corruption, that everyone must be diligent and prepared. The followers must be ready and prepared to make sacrifices for their loved ones. Clerics must heal the sick and save those that have lost their ways and have fallen victim to the deals of Za'strasz. Paladins must be ready to fight back and come to terms with the idea of becoming corrupted. As long as the clerics do what they must do, paladins have nothing to fear, and as long as paladins do what they must do then clerics have nothing to fear. Though the most important thing is that the church does what it must do then everyone in the church and their surroundings will remain protected and will get a continual supply of the starlight blessings.

Holidays

On the 4th of winter, the people are to remember the lost city, all of those who have lost their lives. This holiday is known as the day of the morning, a day when the Eladrin fled and many have lost their lives or had joined the corruption. During this time everyone must stay in their homes with their loved ones. If the person lives alone then they can spend it either in remembrance or by staying with a close friend and their family.

On the 80th of Summer, the people are to celebrate the starlight by going to church through the day and then observe the night sky, this day is meant to be a peaceful day. This holiday marks the day when the Starlight Church was able reflourish and come back to life.

The 73rd of Autumn marks the day when Norma became the goddess of the stars, though the year is left unknown, she assures them that it happened on this date. This is when people hold festivals and have parades dedicated to the stars.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Norma has always had a love for the feywilds, with their unique creatures and heightened magical ability, though it was heartbreaking when the said creatures would turn and morph into something entirely different. She has seen many fall victim to Za'strasz corruption, and could not stand for it any longer. She took it upon herself to take control where he could not. She learned the stars and spend her mortal life trying to harness them, dying the process, though was able to reach a higher level and became a deity due to the need of a protector of the fey.
