Records of the first larger humanoid communities appear 500 years before the end of the 1st Epoch. These humanoid communities were no larger than 500 people, and were only able to survive by giving copious tribute to the dragons that controlled their territories. The Draconid people were the first to form these communities, serving their dragon rulers fervently.
Humanoid communities grow even further, becoming the first nations of the world. The largest of communities reach as many as 10,000 or more. This is aided by discoveries in agriculture and metalworking. This also notes the first emergence of draconic sorcerous bloodlines as dragons (in their humanoid forms) mix with other humanoids. These sorcerers inevitably become the aristocracy of these communities due to their magical power and ties to the dragon overlords.
At this point, sorcerers are becoming numerous and strong, propagating and broadening their bloodlines. Everywhere in the world is rules by one sorcerer bloodline or another, though still under the rule of dragons. However, the success of humanoid communities, and the plentiful wealth they give their dragon overlords as tribute, has made the dragons lazy and complacent.
The 1st Epoch is the most unknown of history, and as such no detailed dates exist upon which to describe the length of this epoch. It has been estimated by the Logicmasters in retrospect to have lasted roughly 2,000 years, with no historical records of civilization in any form existing before this point. The end of the epoch is marked by the first recorded Sorcerers rebellion, in which a group of Sorcerers successfully repelled all Dragons from their lands, and began their rule.
