Young Moon

Smallest of the moons, about a 3rd the size of the Crystal Moon upon the night sky. The Young Moon shines a pale orange, almost red, color. It waxes and wanes in a 25 day cycle, completing a full cycle each month. As such, it begins the month full, and is darkest on the 13th night of the month. In culture it often is used to represent change, transience, and youth. In the religion of Dichotism, the Young Moon is believed to be a visage of the goddess Aravand.
