Bay of Kavesh

The Bay of Kavesh is a well sheltered bay, with calm, clear waters, and only mild storms in the rainy seasons. It is an ideal location to import and export resources by sea. Access to the bay is blocked by the Stepping Stones, a haven for pirates, a significant complication. Corenthia, the Elven Princedom, and the New Sovereignty all use this bay to export their goods, and as such all three nations contribute a fraction of their navy to patrol the bay, and escort merchant ships. This makes it unique as the first jointly owned, jointly patrolled body of water in the world. This is also a common location for sea-faring bounty hunters, as the joint nations offer a number of open bounties upon the various pirates of the region.
