Bankers Guild

The Bankers Guild is the wealthiest entity in the world, keeping its headquarters within the Tensun Trading Company. The guild mints all coins, and is the entity that upholds their international value and legitimacy of most coinage. It owns majority shares in many of the worlds largest companies, and large amount of the worlds gold mines. Some nations choose to keep their treasury within the guild's care, trusting the guild's security more than their own. In many ways the guild operates like a nation, using debt and currency to leverage service out of anyone in order to meet their ends. Many have rightly feared the Guilds power, which is only hampered by its decentralization. Once gets the sense the Guild could start and end wars if it wished.
The guild offers various loans, which can be given based on credit, collateral, or (to the controversy of some) through a Blood Token. Blood Tokens are a produce of the Draconid religion, Blood of the Ancients, which the Bankers Guild has since legitimized worldwide as a legally binding contract.
The guilds gold reserve vault is every thief's dream, and known to have an array of secret traps and locks unlike any other. A game of cat and mouse has been ongoing between the Banker's Guild and their mortal enemies, the Thieves Guild. The Thieves Guild has tried numerous attempts to heist the gold reserve vault, all of which have failed.
