Personal history
Rosta is a moderately powerful Wizard who spent most of his adventuring career exploring the ruins of Cerulea. During one of these dungeon delves, he discovered a mysterious artifact which, after much study, he ascertained must be the phylactery of Zeiram the Lich, a tortle Lichdom who had been imprisoned underground some two hundred years prior. Rosta used his research skills to track down the location of Zeiram's subterranean prison and ultimately slew Zeiram.
Before he did, however, he conversed with the long ossified undead tortle who was ultimately relieved to be released from what he had come to regard as a grave error in seeking Lichdom in the first place.
The encounter changed Rosta. He retired from adventuring and the quest to find fame and fortune in order to pursue his real passion - pottery. He opened Rosta's Pottery in Cerulea Maxima and continues to be happy selling his modest, utilitarian wares.
