Hammerhead
Hammerheads are large rhinoceros-like creatures that ram into their enemies with a large skull protrusion on their forehead. They are herbivores and only start a fight when necessary.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Hammerheads resemble Rinos but instead of a horn, they have a thick club-like bone protruding from their skull. Their thick hide helps them in fights, lessening the pain from being hit.
Genetics and Reproduction
Hammerheads reproduce sexually, but females are rarer than the males so they often fight over who gets to mate.
Growth Rate & Stages
Baby Hammerheads are watched over and protected by the mother and father who birthed it until it is old enough to live on its own.
Ecology and Habitats
Hammerheads are normally found in Keelwater Gardens where they lazily graze on the abundance of Furrowweed.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Hammerheads eat A LOT of food. They eat almost every kind of plant that they can find and they eat it in bulk. It is almost impossible to feed a Hammerhead to complete satisfaction which is why they are never domesticated and kept as pets.
Biological Cycle
Hammerheads group up during the colder seasons and stick close together for warmth, often taking shelter in a cave for as long as possible until they get hungry again.
Origin/Ancestry
Hammerheads are mammals.
Lifespan
35-50 years
Conservation Status
Hammerheads are protected by the government of Valheim hoping to stop the poaching of the species for their skulls.
