Half-Elf

Half-elves are specifically the product of one elven and one human parent.   Boasting a lifespan far longer than that of their human ancestors, though well short of that enjoyed by their elven ones, half-elves often choose to live within human societies, which are generally more accepting of them. They are of average height, somewhat shorter than their elven relatives, but otherwise are almost entirely elven in appearance, with the same pointed ears and poker-straight hair. Often there is almost no way to tell a half-elf from a full-blood elf who is a little on the short side.
Half elves usually boast a similar magical affinity to that of their elven relatives, but with the versatility of their human blood they are capable of great flexibilty of intellect, freeing them from the rigid cultural bounds governing elven magic.
