History

Danelyn was assigned by his uncle, the then-house-head, to assist Nadia in the gardens of Ruling House Valaheim as a punishment for accidentally ruining a flowerbed she had been working on.  He fell rapidly in love, and although it is unclear whether she felt the same, she was attracted enough to begin a secret relationship.  After Nadia informed Danelyn she was pregnant he asked her to marry him, which she refused, preferring to keep the father of her child a secret and claim she did not know his name.
After he was cursed with Vampirism by a necromancer, she refused to see him again out of fear for the safety of their newborn daughter Lenora and fled Velladae without informing him, after which he was never able to locate her.
