Battle of High Creek

Military action

This battle showed the superiority of the quick-moving Democracy siege weapons. They easily fortified a position near the High Creek that divided fertile Elysia with desolate Elysia. They took a small hillock and from there barraged the King's Force. This was after some small skirmish victories by the King's Force, so their morale was on the rise. It fell with the arrows and boulders hurled at them from far away. This broke the spirits of the King's Force and with Manaron back in Hlee due to health concerns, this paved the way for the Democracy to march up to the gates of Hlee.
